Strategy First today announced that it will publish Cops 2170: The Power of Law in North America in May. The title, which is currently in development at Mist Land, is a tactical strategy game in which players assume the role of Katrin, a female rookie cop patrolling the streets of a futuristic metropolis.
"The development team at Mist Land has created a stunning, futuristic world where the battles are fierce, the action is heated, the crime is unimaginable, and, for a change, the woman kicks butt!" said Don McFatridge, president of Strategy First. "Cops 2170: The Power of Law is a terrific tactical strategy game for any fan of the genre."
The gameplay in Cops 2170: The Power of Law will be mission-based, with objectives such as suppressing riots, infiltrating corrupt corporations, and battling with the city's criminal masterminds. All of the missions in the game can be successfully completed using a number of different strategies, as well as the player's own selection of weapons and fellow officers.
