First KOTOR II footage premieres

Double-click the video window for a full-screen view. Today, gamers will get to feel the force of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords for the first time--or they can see it in action anyway.

Premiering exclusively on GameSpot, the official KOTOR II trailer combines three clips from LucasArts and Obsidian's upcoming RPG. The first shows three Jedi and their pistol-packing companion battling a group of destroyer droids. The second sees the same group dueling a passel of hooded Sith apprentices, with a dragonlike creature in the background. Clip number three shows the four companions more up close and personal in a tranquil setting.

Four other clips of gameplay footage also debuted on GameSpot today. Currently, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is due out on PCs and Xboxes in February 2005.
