AU Shippin' Out November 2-6: Dragon Age: Origins

BioWare is heading back to the fantasy realm this week, with the release of Dragon Age: Origins on the Xbox 360 and PC. What separates Dragon Age: Origins from other titles in its genre is its ability for players to completely write their character's history through the origin portion of the game. This allows you to determine what's going on in the gameworld and where you begin the adventure. As you'd expect from an RPG, there are plenty of characters to meet along your quest, some of which may or may not recognise you from your beginnings. Dragon Age: Origins is slated for release this Thursday, though the PS3 version is due to land a few weeks behind.

If RPGs aren't your thing and you like to punch and kick, then perhaps Tekken 6 will appeal to you. Featuring eight new characters and a new rage system--which kicks in once your health is low and gives you a chance to make a late comeback--Tekken 6 boasts more than enough features to make it competitive against the Christmas rush about to begin. The game also boasts an in-depth third-person Scenario Campaign brawler mode, as well as online one-on-one multiplayer. Tekken 6 is due to hit shelves on Friday, but in the meantime be sure to check out GameSpot's review.
