Looks like it's a quieter one for Australian new-release shelves this week. Capcom's third-person action title DmC: Devil May Cry, developed by Ninja Theory (Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West), will be hacking and slashing its way onto the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 15.
The game features returning protagonist Dante, a man who possesses supernatural powers and utilises them to hunt demons as a mercenary. Players take on the role of a young Dante in a parallel universe, as he wakes up in a town populated with demons intent on killing him.
Capcom announced in November last year that downloadable content titled Vergil's Downfall was already in the works and is set to be launched after the game ships. The expansion will feature Dante's twin brother, Vergil, with his perspective during the events of the main campaign.
PC owners will have to hold out until January 25 to pick it up digitally via Steam and EA Origin.
